What DispatchCare is
Hospitals coordinate care well inside the building and lose the thread the moment a patient leaves. Community paramedicine and mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) programs exist to close that gap — post-discharge follow-ups, heart failure and COPD checks, falls, treat-in-place, hospice support — but most still run on phone calls and spreadsheets. DispatchCare gives them a single record for every care mission: who referred it, which protocol, when the visit window is, what happened.
It is deliberately narrow. DispatchCare is not a 911 CAD, not an ePCR and not an EHR. It sits above those systems the same way VectorCare sits above a provider's dispatch software — the coordination layer between the people who need something done and the credentialed teams who can do it.

DispatchCare is the first vertical product built on the VectorCare platform. Three pieces did most of the work.

Case managers launch a referral inside Epic, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, athenahealth and other SMART on FHIR EHRs. SoFaaS handles the launch sequence and FHIR mapping — the same layer VectorCare apps have run on inside Epic since 2025.

- DispatchCare is a VectorCare product for community paramedicine and mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) programs. It lets hospitals refer patients to community paramedics from inside the EHR, tracks each care mission from referral to visit to outcome, and reports results for programs, states and payers.
- Is DispatchCare a separate company from VectorCare?
- No. DispatchCare is built and operated by VectorCare on the same platform — SoFaaS for in-chart launch, the VectorCare broadcast network, and Insights for reporting. It has its own site at dispatchcare.com because its buyers (CP programs, rural hospitals, state RHT offices) are different from VectorCare's core hospital logistics buyers.
- Do I need to be a VectorCare customer to use DispatchCare?
- No. DispatchCare is sold on its own. Existing VectorCare health systems can add it to their current deployment and reuse their network, credentialing and reporting.
